![]() Scolding the Kansas Head for Showing Too Much Bait.
My father in heaven was beginning to despair that I was showing too much
odd bait embarrassing to the Presidents of the United States
and myself last night, according to a dream. So this morning I resolved to go in and batten down the hatches around the worst of it. Here you can see him wail at the comet off the West Coast. Back in Kansas, he shows his teeth from out of state to his son in Kansas. He was beginning to conclude that I was making myself unpromotable by delving a bit too deeply into the unmentionable.

After I wiped out the worst of the offending material, the ghost in the northwest began to smile. In particular, I erased a photo of President Bush with an embarrassing display on a desktop terminal. Then I restored the section including psychedelics in the visionary cloud cover file,
and the ghost went skull-like, still smiling. This is The Grateful Dead Effect. Psychedelics must be used carefully, and are not foolproof, but they do typically amplify visionary pattern perception. I have read that psychedelics are available on a limited basis again from the medical community in certain cases. In the larger version of the photo, the hat on the skull went to something like a band leader's hat, similar to something from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Audio). [Album info].

Then a Bush & Kerry Advertisement comes up with a WARP applied to their faces, signaling: "That stuff makes me feel warped." Later, I also imagined that I picked up a vibration from CNN that they were perturbed about the existence of the psychedelic links, since they don't want to promote psychedelics in connection with weathermen or cloud cover images. So I suppressed the psychedelic links again, confining them to my "sensitive" material section on The Psychedelic 60s. It's hilarious how stock in LSD rose and fell in a way that is inhibiting or not to conversation about it. "About having to be scrounging your next meal" comes to mind in connection with your present employment, for instance, when describing recollections from as long as 31 years ago. Try Like a Rolling Stone from Bob Dylan. It could cost a feller a few votes to mention that he had taken it. |
